On the luncheon menu for the Dallas Women’s Foundation will be a real treat: New York Times columnist Gail Collins will be the guest speaker on Thursday, October 29, for the 24th annual gathering. In addition to her duties at the NYT, Gail has written America’s Women: 400 Years of Dolls, Drudges, Helpmates and Heroines; Scorpion Tongues: Gossip, Celebrity and American Politics; and The Millenium Book. That last one she co-authored with her husband, Dan Collins. Surprise, surprise! To coincide with Gail’s personal appearance, her newest book, When Everything Changed, will be hitting bookstores. Nice timing!
